between towing vehicles and trailers and is based on “Road vehicles — Electrical connections between towing vehicles and trailers with 24 V electrical equipment — Type 24 S (supplementary)”, ISO 3731 : 980 published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Connectors manufactured in accordance with this standard are interchangeable with those made in accordance with ISO 3731 , plugs of type 24 S which will permit electrical connections between towing vehicles and trailers with 24 V electrical equipment NOTE These sockets and plugs are not interchangeable with The plug shall
