numerical code associated with dimensions, and load ratings for an inch-code- designated series of tyres for motorcycles, fitted on rims with a nominal diameter corresponding to the codes 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and ISO 6054-2 deals with the requirements for rims NOTE The parallel International Standards in the metric series are ISO 5751 - [4] , ISO 5751 - 2[5] and ISO 5751 - 3[6] Normative reference The following standard contains provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this part of ISO 6054 At the time of publication, the edition indicated was valid All standards are the maximum load a tyre can carry at the speed indicated by its speed symbol under service conditions specified by the tyre manufacturer 4.2.2 Speed symbol The speed symbol indicates the speed at which the tyre can carry a load corresponding to its load index under service conditions specified by the tyre manufacturer Tyre dimensions 5.1 Calculation of “design tyre” dimensions 5.1.1
