him/ her/ it/ them) không đổi B Tense (thì) Directed speed Am/ is/ are V1/ Vs,es am/ is/ are + V-ing V2/ ed Was/ were + V-ing Have/ has + V3/ ed Reported speech was/ were V2/ ed was/ were + V-ing had + V3/ ed had + V3/ ed had + V3/ ed Directed speed Must/ have to Am/is/are + going to Will/ shall + V1 Can, may If clauses Wish clauses Reported speech had to was/were + going to would/ should + V1 could, might unchanged unchanged ed Một số trường hợp không đổi thì: - Động từ tường thuật HTĐ, TLĐ, HTHT - Lời nói trực tiếp diễn tả chân lý, kiện hiển nhiên, định luật khoa học, vật lý - Sự kiện vừ xảy hoạc vừa nói - Những động từ should, had better, ought to… C Time and place words (từ thời gian nơi chốn) Chủ từ Túc từ Tính từ Directed speed Reported speech sở hữu now -> then I me my ago -> before We us our next -> the next You you your here -> there They them their this -> that He him his these -> those She her her today/ tonight -> that day/ that night It it its yesterday -> the day before/ the previous day tomorrow -> the next day/ the following day last night/ week… -> the previous night/ week… (the night/ week… before) the day before yesterday -> two days before the day after tomorrow -> in two day’s time D Structures a Statements (câu khẳng định) S + said to/ told… + O + (that) + clause (S + V ) Các bước thực hiện: -Đổi S O câu tường thuật - Đổi động từ - Đổi từ thời gian, nơi chốn b Yes/ No questions S + asked…+ (O) + if/ whether + clause (S + V ) Các bước thực hiện: - Thêm O cần thiết - Thêm if/ whether, sau if/ whether câu khẳng định - Nếu câu hỏi Y/N bắt đầu động từ tình thái (to be, khiếm khuyết) đổi động từ tình thái theo quy tắc đổi - Nếu câu hỏi Y/N bắt đầu do/ does/ did… ta bỏ do/ does/ did… động từ đổi theo quy tắc đổi - Khơng có dấu “?” cuối câu c Wh- questions S + asked…+ O + Wh- + clause (S + V ) Các bước thực giống câu hỏi Y/N thay “if/ whether” “Wh-“ d Commands, requests and advices S + told/ ordered…+ O + (not) + to V0 … Một số động từ thường dùng: told, order, asked, begged, advised… Các bước thực hiện: - Thêm O cần thiết - Xác định động từ chính, xem cấu trúc câu khẳng định hay phủ định - Thêm “to” “not to” trước động từ Câu lời khuyên dùng S + told/ advised…+ O + that + S +should/had better/ ought to…+ V0 ) 18/ Tag question - Mệnh đề trần thuật: Khẳng định Câu hỏi đuôi: Phủ định - Mệnh đề trần thuật: Phủ định Câu hỏi đuôi: Khẳng định - Nếu động từ có động từ, ta dùng trợ động từ thứ cho câu hỏi đuôi - Dạng phủ định câu hỏi đuôi phải viết rút gọn (Ex: don’t, doesn’t, aren’t, isn’t, haven’t…) - Trong câu có từ never, hardly, scarcely, rarely, seldom mang nghĩa phủ định - Câu hỏi đuôi I am aren’t I? - Câu mệnh lệnh xác định ta dùng câu hỏi đuôi won’t you? - Sau câu mệnh lệnh phủ định, ta dùng will you? - Sau Let’s ta dùng shall we? - Ta dùng đại từ they câu hỏi đuôi sau someone/ somebody, everyone/ everybody, no one/ nobody - Ta dùng it câu hỏi đuôi sau nothing 19/ Word forms (hình thức từ) Cách dùng: - Nouns: đứng sau a/ an/ the, sau giới từ, trước tính từ, đầu câu giữ chức làm chủ ngữ - Ordinary verbs: sau chủ từ, sau “to” - Adjectives: sau “to be”, trước danh từ, sau linking verbs (look, see, smell, hear, taste, feel, hear, become, sound…), sau cấu trúc “S + make + O + adj” họăc “S + find + adj + to V0” - Adverbs: sau động từ thường, trước tính từ để bổ nghĩa cho tính từ 20/ Thích làm … làm S + would rather ('d rather) + V0 …+ than + V0 … Eg: - She would rather play games than read books S1 + would rather ('d rather) + S2 + V2/ V-ed … S + prefer + to V0 … S + prefer + V-ing… + to + V-ing … 21/ Tốt nên làm S + had better ('d better) + V0 …+ than + V0 … Eg: - You had better your homework before going to bed S1 + had better ('d better) + S2 + V2/ V-ed … 22/ Verb forms (hình thức động từ) a Verb + Gerund (V + Ving): động từ theo sau V-ing: - Admit : chấp nhận - Consider : xem xét - Spend : bỏ thời gian - Keep : giữ, tiếp tục - Avoid : tránh - Mind : phiền - Discuss : thảo luận - Suggest : đề nghị - Dislike : ghét - Enjoy : thích, thưởng thức - Practice : thực hành - Can’t help : chịu đựng - Complete = Finish : hoàn thành - Can’t stand : chịu đựng - Delay = Postpone : hoãn lại - Give up = Quit : từ bỏ - Be used to = Get used to = Be accustomed to: Quen với - Look forward to: Mong chờ, mong đợi b Verb + Gerund (Ving) or Infinitive (To Vo) (Nghĩa không thay đổi): - Begin : bắt đầu - Like : thích- Hate : Ghét - Start : bắt đầu - Love : yêu - Can’t stand: chịu đựng - Continue : tiếp tục - Prefer : thích - Can’t bear : khơng thể chịu đựng c Verb + Gerund (Ving) or Infinitive (To Vo) (Nghĩa thay đổi): Stop + V-ing : chấm dứt, khơng làm việc Stop + to V0 : Ngưng lại việc để làm mọt việc khác Ex:- He stopped smoking ( Anh bỏ hút thuốc.) - He stopped to smoke ( Anh dừng lại để hút thuốc.)
