IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR COLLEGE TENNIS EXPOSURE CAMP AT COASTAL CAROLINA UNIVERSITY – JUNE 23-24, 2018 Camp check-in will be held Saturday, June 23, from 7:30-8:00 a.m at the Stevens Tennis Complex located at 369 Allied Drive, Conway, SC 29526 The camp will start promptly at 8:15 a.m Hotel Accommodations A local hotel will accommodate students staying with parents For hotel accommodations, call: Hampton Inn/Myrtle Beach West, 4551 US-501, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579; Telephone: (843) 236-0045 Reserve before May 23, 2018 for $169 (plus tax) “CTA” group rate This hotel is located miles from Coastal Carolina University and miles from the beach Breakfast is included Lunch will be provided for all campers Parents are encouraged to dine at one of the numerous local restaurants Medical Form – A camp medical form must be completed and returned to us prior to participating Adequate health insurance is essential for all students In the event of a medical emergency, all medical costs must be paid for by the student, parent or guardian Cancellation and Inclement Weather Policy A refund (less a $75 processing fee) will be provided to anyone who cancels more than 30 days prior to the start of camp If you cancel, for any reason, within 30 days of the start of the camp, you will receive a full credit toward a College Tennis Exposure Camp (valid through December 2019) There will be no credit or refund for any student who must leave the camp for illness, injury or any other reason, once the camp has started In the event of rain at any point during the weekend, we will make every attempt at completing the full 9-hours of on-court drills and matchplay Since our entire coaching staff will be working rain or shine, there will be no refund or credit in the event of inclement weather Miscellaneous Expenses Campers may incur incidental expenses, such as racquet stringing Required Packing List a Racquets - at least two (2), pre-strung b Water jug - 1/2-gallon or larger c Notebook and pen d Sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher), hat or visor (continued) Page – College Tennis Exposure Camp at Coastal Carolina University Driving Directions to the Stevens Tennis Complex, 369 Allied Drive, Conway, SC 29526: From the north on Interstate 95 Take I-95 South into South Carolina Continue to Exit 181A Turn onto S.C 38 South and continue as it merges with U.S 501 Bypass and intersects with U.S 501 Turn left onto U.S 501 and follow signs to Conway/Myrtle Beach Continue on U.S 501 through Conway toward Myrtle Beach; Go approximately miles past the S.C 378 intersection in Conway and turn left onto Allied Drive Continue 0.8 mile to the Stevens Tennis Complex If you see Coastal Carolina/University Blvd you’ve gone too far From the south on Interstate 95 Take I-95 North into South Carolina Continue to Exit 170 Turn right and follow S.C 327 until it intersects with S.C 76 Turn left onto S.C 76 East and proceed toward Conway/Myrtle Beach S.C 76 merges with U.S 501 and continues through Conway toward Myrtle Beach Go approximately miles past the S.C 378 intersection in Conway and turn left onto Allied Drive Continue 0.8 mile to the Stevens Tennis Complex If you see Coastal Carolina/University Blvd you’ve gone too far From east on Interstate 20 (Columbia, S.C.)
