SCHOLARLY COMMUNICATIONS EXPERTS DIRECTORY 2016-2017 Easily find experts in your network Welcome to the 2016 - 2017 Scholarly Community Experts Directory Scholarly Communications is a rapidly growing field in library and academic sectors In this directory you will find over 130 respondents sharing knowledge of 34 categories of Scholarly Communications, repository management and Digital Commons expertise This directory provides a resource to connect with peers and find an expert no matter what your needs The directory is organized in two ways The first section is organized by area of expertise and alongside that you’ll find names of self-identified experts and other information such as FTE, Carnegie Class, and location More detailed contact information is located in the second section, where each respondent is listed in alphabetical order along with his or her complete scholarly communications profile and selected publications related to that expertise We hope this will be a unique, high-impact, and replicable approach to IR success, and have made a meaningful contribution to the scholarly communications community as a whole Graduate of bepress University Repository Manager Certification Course Bepress University is an intensive three-day workshop of institutional repository administrators held in our office in Berkeley, California Attendees develop crucial skills and expertise in the area of repository management, library-based publishing and scholarly communications Graduate of bepress Kickstart The Kickstart is a two-day onsite training available to Digital Commons customers The Kickstart offers training in repository management, scholarly communications, and outreach to core library staff as well as general sessions for liaison librarians, faculty, and other university stakeholders SCHOLARLY COMMUNICATIONS EXPERTS DIRECTORY 2016-2017 AREAS OF EXPERTISE We organized the 34 categories of expertise into four sections Topics related to general repository management (the blue section); expertise supporting different kinds of content (the yellow section); expertise supporting various departments, organizations, or stakeholders (the purple section); and topics related to Digital Commons and SelectedWorks management (the red section) Here you will find the names of each respondent who has identified as an expert in each category,
