they just seem to walk taller I have the best job in the world!” Kip McGrath Belmont WA is located at Unit 8, 226 Fulham Street Cloverdale 6105 opposite Belmont Forum Check out the Kip McGrath Belmont WA Facebook page to see what is happening in the centre “There is convenient parking right in front of the centre and after dropping their child at the centre, most parents use the 80 minute session time to shop, go to the gym, visit the library, go to Belmont Oasis After Kip, some families go to one of the Belmont Forum restaurants for a meal or head to the cinema.” Kip McGrath Belmont WA is now endorsed to deliver On Screen tuition in which students receive face to face tuition with a live tutor in real time via webcam, using Kip McGrath’s online tutoring platform This is becoming increasingly popular with rural students and also with local parents whose busy lives mean it is difficult to get students to the centre on a regular basis SWITCHED ON BUSINESS Switched on Business celebrates sustainability actions in local business Nominate a business you have used, or nominate yourself Switched on Business is awarded up to four times each year Nominations remain open year round To view the T & Cs or to nominate, visit the Switch your thinking website at www switchyourthinking.com Sip Sip Don't suck.  Don't suck.  Winners receive the title of Switched on Business and are recognised on the Switch your thinking website, Facebook Switched on business is available page and enews A certificate will also to businesses located in the City of be presented by a representative from Armadale, City of Bayswater, City of Support theSupport fight against the fight against your local Council Belmont, Town of Cambridge, City of Canning, City of Gosnells, City of Kwinana, City of Mandurah, Shire of Murray, City of Perth, City of South Perth, Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale, City of Swan, Town of Victoria Park, City of Vincent and the City of Wanneroo only plastic straws plastic straws KOODA OFFERS ORGANIC WASTE COLLECTION An organic waste collection service called Kooda is now available to businesses in the City of Belmont Ruth Faulkner Public Library) recently commenced a six month trial of the service Subscription to the service involves the payment of a monthly fee for collection and composting of up to 500L of organics per week, per business Kooda supplies buckets which are placed in an agreed collection location Kooda, in addition to the pre-existing bokashi composting, contributes towards the City’s Environment and Sustainability Policy commitments to ‘reduce waste generated’ and ‘minimise the City’s carbon footprint’ The City of Belmont Administration Building (Civic Centre and For more information or to express interest in signing up, visit https://www.kooda.com.au/ UNIVERSAL ELECTRO-TECH LEADER IN ELECTRICAL SERVICES In 2011 Daniel Goodman started his journey in electrical contracting with Universal Electro Tech and Universal Switchboards, formerly known as GP Electro-Tech Pty Ltd, in humble beginnings from the back of a yellow Mitsubishi Colt Now that Universal Electro Tech and Universal Switchboards has officially moved into their newly refurbished premises they are offering a 10% discount to any first-time customer based in Belmont for electrical work carried out at their business premises To allow the company to expand and grow into an ever-changing market place, in 2017 Universal Electro-Tech was sold to Christopher Hicks and registered as CRH Electrical Pty Ltd T/A’s Universal Electro Tech and Universal Switchboards For more information, contact their experienced team on 9328 9491, www.universalelectrotech.com or visit them at 105 Robinson Avenue, Belmont, WA 6104 @thelaststrawaus @thelaststrawaus #thelaststrawaus #thelaststrawaus laststraw.com.au laststraw.com.au Sip Venues across Venues the City across of Belmont the Cityare of Belmont working to Don't suck. are working to CITY OF reduce the amount reduce of theplastic amount straws of plastic we use straws we use BELMONT Did you know Did that you over know 500that million overplastic 500 million straws plastic are straws are thrown awaythrown every day? away every day?
