U N I V E R S IT Y O F G LOUC ES TERS H I RE, NE W S C H O O L OF B US I NES S A ND T E C H NO LO GY CASE STUDY UN I V E R S IT Y O F GLOUCESTE RSH IRE , NE W SC HO OL O F BUS INESS AND TE CH NOLOGY Gresham Office Furniture was awarded the project to completely furnish the New School of Business and Technology for The University of Gloucestershire, Oxstalls Campus in Longelevens Project: New School of Business and Technology Client: University of Gloucester Products: Platinum Mesh, Adlington Mesh, Take Up Booth, Moment Table, Believe Table, Betsy, Oli, Alvier Sled, Moons and Rounds and Bespoke Brief: Part of a £20m development, the new building is used for a number of purposes: As the Business School, it is part of the University and is expected to bring an additional 2000 students to the University It contains all the necessary educational facilities There are teaching areas, both for large and small groups, with quiet areas which are conducive to solo study, a number of leisure and relaxation areas, administration offices, as well as a spacious cafeteria Moment Steel Leg Large Format Table with LG4 Wood The aim of the school is to inspire students to be active participants in business, rather than observers, by providing a shared space for academics, students and enterprise, where everyone can learn from everybody else Solution: We supplied samples of the furniture to the University and their representatives visited our showroom at our state-of-the-art 200,000 sq.ft facility close to the motorway in Bolton to view and evaluate the furniture in more detail before making their final decisions We felt that it was important for the University representatives to see our facility so they would be given the peace of mind that their furniture would be supplied by a ‘True UK Manufacturer’ – a title we are proud of Take Off Plus High Back with LTF Twin Base Table Gresham also provided a full Planning Service, with full input from the University, Architect and Ian Gough Our in-house Design and Graphics Department produced a number of 2D CAD plans, to show the proposed layouts, mood boards etc, and 3D renders illustrating what the chosen furniture wold look like in situ For this stage of the process, the team used the latest software including AutoCAD Architecture 2018, 3DStudioMAX 2018 and SolidWorks Telford Tilt Top Tables with Oli Leg Chairs Moment Steel Leg Tables, Oli Leg Chairs, Take Off Plus Low Back and Alvier Sled Leg Betsy Skid Base with Moment Steel Leg Tables and Izzey High Back Meeting Room with Betsy Skid Base with Moment Steel Leg Table
