OUTSTANDING SCHOLARS Richard Bland College of William & Mary is pleased to announce a 76% increase in the number of students achieving a grade point average of 3.25 and above for the 2015 Fall semester “The increase in the number of high-‐performing students at Richard Bland is testament to the College's growing ability to attract strong students and the strength of RBC’s fine faculty to bring them to high rates of academic achievement,” says Vern Lindquist, Dean of Faculty and Academic Effectiveness Students attribute better grades to faculty, staff and technology “Small classes, easy access and willingness of faculty members to assist students on an individual basis makes a difference” says Amanda Archer, Richard Bland College Honors student “Learner Mentors also help keep students on track and the implementation of new software that gives students 24/7 access to grades and assignments is invaluable.” This follows a 36% increase in enrollment for Fall 2015 and a 163% increase in Honors students with an average 3.82 GPA 66 students at Richard Bland College of William & Mary achieved a grade point average of 3.8 or above during the 2015 Fall semester to merit placement on the President’s List An additional 133 students rated Dean’s List status with a grade point average of 3.25 or better while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours as full-‐time students
