FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Robie DuChateau Phone & Email: (404) 373-2491; Robie@LeadershipDekalb.org LEADERSHIP DEKALB ANNOUNCES CLASS OF 2022 Forty-seven leaders across a variety of sectors chosen to participate ATLANTA, July 1, 2021 – Forty-seven established and emerging leaders have been selected to participate in Leadership DeKalb’s Class of 2022 The class members represent a variety of sectors including education, government, healthcare, legal, media, non-profit, public safety and private business “The Leadership DeKalb Board of Directors is extremely excited about the diversity and professional experience the Class of 2022 will bring to the organization,” said Marquetta J Bryan, Leadership DeKalb chair-elect, who will officially become chair at the first meeting of the new class “We are certain the relationships created, and knowledge gained while going through the Leadership DeKalb Program will further prepare the Class of 2022 for leadership in DeKalb County and regionally, as well.” Throughout the program year, members of the class view DeKalb County from many angles, learning about the issues facing the region and discovering the impact they can have as well-informed leaders Class members will also assist DeKalb County nonprofit organizations with projects relating to strategy development lending their professional skills for growth and development Since the inception of this Community Service Project program in 2014, Leadership DeKalb has partnered with more than 50 nonprofit organizations providing thousands of volunteer hours Members of the Class of 2022 includes: Mirna Andrews, Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney Sexual Exploitation & Crimes Against Children Unit, DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office Gerald Baldwin, Executive Director -
