are required to take the GMAT or the GRE and have the results reported to the University at Buffalo The GMAT/GRE are aptitude tests that measure capabilities important to the study of management at the graduate level For more information regarding the GMAT test, dates and places of administration, see the GMAT website The GMAT institutional reporting code for the full-time MBA program is K6RQX67 The GRE is also accepted for the full-time MBA program The reporting codes for GRE are 4201 (department code) and 2925 (institutional code) Applications are viewed holistically While the MBA admissions committee does not have absolute minimums for admission, it is unlikely that prospective students with a score below the 30th percentile on any section of the GMAT or a score of less than 152 on the verbal and quantitative sections of the GRE will be admitted Note: Plan accordingly to allow yourself enough time to prepare for the exam and for the score to be reported by the intended from or who have completed degree programs at other U.S colleges or universities, must prove their English language proficiency by taking a standardized test and reporting the score to the University at Buffalo Unofficial score reports may be uploaded as the admissions office has the ability to verify scores The following tests are accepted: •Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) The school generally requires a TOEFL score of at least 570 or 230 on the CAT TOEFL for admission The IBT TOEFL is also accepted, with a preferred score of 95 or better and no section lower than 22 Your Work experience is defined as full-time employment after completing a bachelor's degree While co-op, internship and part-time work experience is valuable to your application and in the MBA classroom, AACSB reporting standards require us to report post-bachelor's work experience Do you count military experience as work experience? Additional Note Yes, we believe military experience is valuable and encourage former military personnel to apply to our program, as they have proven leadership and interpersonal skills As noted above, we can only report experience post-bachelor's, however, military experience completed before finishing your degree will positively impact your application and is often viewed favorably by employers What is the average GMAT/GRE score?
