ARDA SUBMISSION FORM To help others use your data responsibly and to ensure that you are given full credit for collecting the data, the Association of Religion Data Archives needs the following information Send the Following Information Data Files: Send the appropriate data files, along with any files used to construct your final file Please give us information on the specific software used to create the files and any information that we will need for reading the file Complete Codebook and/or Survey Instrument: Because we want to provide our users with the full wording for each variable and response category, please send an electronic copy of the codebook listing all variables, variable descriptions, and any additional information needed to understand the variables If a survey or coding instrument was used, please include a copy Summary information and methodological sketch: PIs can provide the information below or we can take it from existing publications If available in publications, please send us a copy of the publication or give us the citation a A 1-2 paragraph summary of the data collection b Weight variables used c Sampling procedures d Collection procedures (e.g., in-person interview) e Principal Investigators f Name or title for the data collection g Date(s) the data were collected h Funding source(s) i Other miscellaneous information: Information on indexes or other constructed variables j Related publications and web sites As you prepare the information needed for submission, please keep a log of your time We will pay you $35 per hour or $280 per day (up to $560 per submission) for the time you devote to assembling and sending this information The intention behind this reimbursement is to help scholars or research centers who lack the time or financial resources to submit their data This reimbursement is not intended to fund research, the development of studies, or data collection Thank you!
