CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Report on Establishment of the Permanent and Temporary Benchmark Carried out by: Port Technology Construction Consulting and Commercial JSC(PTECH) I THE PURPOSE OF SURVEY In order to obtain the data for the Permanent and Temporary Benchmarks in coordinates and elevations for excecute construction, survey work is required PTECH is assigned to carry out the survey of IV order and Grade traverse control network at the project site from 19th November to 03rd December 2014 II BASIC FOR SURVEY - Contract dated 7nd March, 2014 between TOA CORPORATION and Port Technology Construction Consulting & Commercial JSC of “Thai Binh Thermal Power Plant and Transmission Lines Construction Project” - Working statement for Establishment of the Permanent and Temporary Benchmark prepared by PTECH approved III STANDARD FOR SURVEY - QCVN 04:2009/BTNMT - National technical regulation on establishment of Horizontal control network issued by Ministry of Natural Research and Environment in 2009 - QCVN 11: 2008/BTNMT - National technical regulation on eshtablisment of leveling network issued by Ministry of Natural Research and Environment in 2008 - TCVN 9401_2012 - The Third order horizontal control points in VN2000 coordinate system established by Vietnam National Land Administration Department are used for developing the IV order GPS horizontal control network - Vertical control points: Third order Benchmark is used for development of IV order vertical control network - The table below list the original control points used as based points to develop the IV Equipment as following: 04 Trimble 4600LS receivers made in USA which can receive the signals from GPS (USA) systems were used to establish the IV order horizontal control network and the Grade traverse points (area outside the fence) The Accuracy in standard condition is as follows: ± (5mm + 0.5ppm x D) (Static and Fast Static Mode) (D is the distance from reference station to mobile station) GPS Trimble 4600LS receiver Total station Nikkon DTM551 made in Japan was used for measuring grade traverse control network (area inside the fence) and setting out The Accuracy in standard condition is as follows: • Angle measurement accuracy 1”; • Distance measurement accuracy 2mm + 2pmm; PORT TECHNOLOGY CONSTRUCTION CONSULTING & COMMERCIAL JSC THAI BINH THERMAL POWER PLANT AND establishing the IV order vertical control network Leveling equipment Topcon AT-B4 Equipment and softwares for office data processing • Trimble Business Centre Software was used for baselines processing and adjustment of IV order horizontal control and grade traverse control network (area outside the fence) • Hhmaps Software was used for network adjustment (area inside the fence) • AENET Establishment of the Permanent and Temporary Benchmark • Microsoft office and assistance drawing software such as AutoCAD, softdesk was used for editing and making the report VII SURVEY METHODOLOGIES VII.1 Coordinate and Elevation system • Coordinate system: National coordinate system VN2000, with Central Meridian 105030’, zone 30 (Ko=0.9999) was used for whole project The detailed parameters of coordinate system are as follows: Spheroid : WGS 84 Semi major axis : 6378137m 1/ flattening : 298.257223563 Projection : UTM Central Meridian : 1050 30' E False Easting : 500 km False Northing : 0.000 Scale factor at C.M : 0.9999 • Elevation system: National Land Survey Datum VII.2 IV order horizontal control network Horizontal control points: Third order horizontal control two points named III-130420 and III-130419 in VN2000 coordinate system established by Vietnam National Land Administration Department were used for establishment the IV order GPS control network points Field survey PORT TECHNOLOGY CONSTRUCTION CONSULTING & COMMERCIAL JSC THAI BINH THERMAL POWER PLANT AND TRANSMISSION LINES CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Report on Establishment of the Permanent and Temporary Benchmark Horizontal control network was connected to at 02 National control points (III130420 and III-130419 ) IV order horizontal control network was carried out include 04 sessions Each session, the signal of satellites was recored for at least 120 minutes All survey information of each measured point such as weather condition, Antenna’s height, number of satellite were recorded into daily report… All data collected at each point were recorded into memory card or internal memory with 10 seconds interval separately by names for post-processing Network adjustment Trimble Business Centre software was used for baselines processing and network adjustment Adjustment module was used for control network adjustment In order to reduce an affect of scale factor and according to technical specification, the network was adjusted in VN-2000 coordinate system central meridian 105 30’, zone (Ko=0.9999) Weighting value of all GPS solution is calculated based on “alternative” method After calculating, received result of root means square of weighting unit error is 1.0 and tested result of χ2 with α=95% is PASS All adjustment results are shown in tables of appendix Coordinate in VN2000 grid coordinate system and WGS84 Geographic coordinate system of control points are shown in Appendix VII.3 Grade traverse horizontal control network Grade traverse horizontal control network was connected to IV order GPS control points By position specific of grade traverse control points, with 05 points outside the fence and 11 points inside the fence (see the attached enclosed in Appendix 3) Therefore, the grade traverse control points were establishment according to two methods: The points the inside the fence was established according to the method Total Station (measuring angles and BM-06), Grade traverse control points was established by GPS receivers Grade traverse horizontal control network was carried out include 03 sessions Each session, the signal of satellites was recorded for at least 90 minutes All survey information of each measured point such as weather condition, Antenna’s height, number of satellite must be recorded into daily report… All data collected at each the fence) are using coordinate system VN2000, Center Meridian 105030' , zone = 30 (UTM projection), at location of project deformed distance is 1/20.000 in this projection It's greater than 1/50.000 (according to TCVN 9398: 2012 Surveying construction-General requirements) therefore need to calculate coordinate transformation after network adjustment Table 2: Coordinate of IV order control and Report on Establishment of the Permanent and Temporary Benchmark The accuracy of measurement was within following limits: o The Traverse angles were measured in times with Root Mean Square (RMS) Error of better than 3.1” o The Traverse lines were measured in times with Relative RMS error of better than 1:28.600 Network adjustment Hhmaps software was used for processing and network adjustment This grade traverse control network is used coordinate of 05 IV order GPS points (BM-01, BM-02, BM-03, BM-05 and BM-06) in Table.4 of Item VII.3 (after transformation) for calculate adjustment Result of grade traverse horizontal control network (area insde the fence) is shown in appendix 3.2 VII.4 IV order vertical control network Vertical control points: Third order National Benchmarks established by Vietnam National Land Administration Department were used for Establishment of IV order vertical control network Field survey: In accordance with standard of V.N.L.A.D the IV order vertical control network was established by using closed geometry levelling method The benchmarks location were chosen same as location of IV order horizontal control points and Grade traverse control points National benchmarks were used as basic control points The IV order levelling route run though all IV order control points and Grade traverse control points based on National benchmarks (III(TD-GL)7 and III(TD-GL)6 with miscloser 9.0mm, less than the allowable miscloser of =±85.48mm (where L is the length of levelling route in kilometre = 18.269km) Network adjustment: 11 PORT TECHNOLOGY CONSTRUCTION
