The Data Department oversees the management of the company's financial data WebTool, which includes macroeconomics, industry, enterprises, and securities Its primary goal is to deliver accurate, objective, and up-to-date information to the community The department is responsible for implementing and coordinating the input and output stages of data, ensuring that processed information is made available to the Consulting department and stored in the WebTool for sale as Data department products.

Steps of receiving and processing data at Tai Viet Joint Stock Company
2.2.1 Step 1: Receive reports from stock exchanges

In 2021, during my internship, I was responsible for importing essential annual information into the company's WebTool, known as "web.niengiam," developed by the IT department of Tai Viet JSC This process involved inputting critical data for listed companies, including details on subsidiary and affiliated companies, changes in charter capital, shareholder structures, revenue, management structures, and business targets from the previous year The imported data is subsequently stored in Vietstock’s WebTool and made available for sale upon request.
Annual reports and financial statements provide essential data regarding subsidiary and affiliated companies According to Enterprise Law, a parent company is defined as one that owns over 50% of another company's charter capital or total ordinary shares, or has the authority to appoint a majority of its Board of Directors Typically, annual reports will include a direct list of subsidiaries; if absent, ownership percentages can be found in financial statements While affiliated companies are not explicitly defined in legal documents, they are generally understood as enterprises where other companies hold 50% or less of the shares or contributed capital For instance, Electrical Construction Consulting 4 JSC (TV4) includes a list of its subsidiaries and affiliated companies in its annual report.

The Data Department oversees the management of the company's financial data WebTool, which includes macroeconomic, industry, enterprise, and securities information Its primary goal is to deliver accurate, objective, and up-to-date information to the community The department is responsible for implementing and assigning tasks for data input and output, ensuring that processed data is provided to the Consulting department while also being stored in the WebTool for sale as Data Department products.
