every-day-pressure and express myself Basketball is a sport that requires skills like teamwork, strength, and speed Playing basketball allow players to train their personal quality like responsibility, hard work, self-confidence, and leadership These things are what you can apply to your daily life and help you grow up with experiences One other reason for my love of basketball is you can train and play it by yourself, but it is truly better when having friends to play among you Teamwork is one of the most important keys to playing basketball A good basketball team always does some great team works It is wonderful when we some fake moves to make the opponents jump, and then we pass the ball to other teammates I like to play basketball outside with my friends we always have a good time together Basketball makes us trust each other more and make our friendship becomes stronger For me, basketball, my passion for life I love basketball “Why young people prefer living in big city?” Most young people like the modern life in the developed cities, where the opportunity for the young spirits to pursue their dreams Moreover, some cities like Saigon or Hanoi offer many cultural-exchange flatforms for people to approach In a big city, it provides young people with many career opportunities to increase income, feed themselves and their families Big cities have a huge demand for labor in many fields from education, marketing to technology, designers, etc, which need a lot of human resources Therefore, it’s easy for young people to find a suitable job and gain experience Speaking of experiences, a big city is a wonderful place for young people to learn social skills by struggling day by day in which people packed like sardines In addition, the quality of life in cities is much better than in rural areas The infrastructure is modern and there are full of services for the people More and more entertainment centers, commercial centers, hospitals, and schools are built It means that people's health is better and their needs for entertainment are better In summary, living in a big city has many advantages However, they have to try their best to overcome all difficulties such as hard competition in the workplace Seasons and weather in the North of Vietnam Vietnam is a tropical country Not like other parts of Vietnam where just have two separate seasons which are the dry season and the rain season, Northern Vietnam has four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter Spring is the beginning of the year It is also the season of festivals, the Lunar New Year, which Vietnamese people call Tet, is the biggest festival of the year Around this time, the climate is still cold and humid There are still some small drizzles outside, but they seem not to be able to stop the hundreds of colorful flowers blooming In summer, the weather becomes hot and wet Sudden and short rains are very common during this season But most of the time, the weather is very comfortable and warm People travel a lot in summer, it is the perfect time to relax and join outdoor activities In autumn, the weather becomes mild and cool This is the time when all the leaves change their look and the green color is mostly replaced by the yellow and brown tones Trees in this season tend to have their leaves fallen This helps fertilize the soil for the sprout to grow Autumn can be considered the most relaxing season of the year, and it is a pity since it only lasts for three months And last but not least the winter, the coldest season in Northern Vietnam The weather is dry and cloudy The air humidity is low so people need to use products to moisturize the skin When going out in winter, everyone needs to wear warm clothes, wool hats, gloves, and socks My favorite season is winter My favorite thing in winter is sleeping Lying in a warm blanket is not wanting to go out This warm feeling is wonderful Describe the room that you like best in your house There are five rooms in my house, two bedrooms, one living room, one bathroom, and one kitchen But my favorite room is my bedroom My bedroom is on the second floor It is not a very large room, but it is spacious enough to become my private world It is a fully-furnished room with a single bed on the left and a wardrobe in the right corner And there stands a wood table with a shelf that contains many fascinating books and is decorated with lots of souvenirs and birthday gifts in the left corner With two small windows on the two sides of the room, I used sweet pink color for the wall to make my bedroom airier and warmer My childhood memories are attached to every corner of the room In my deep thoughts, it is not only a place where greets me after strained long hours at work, brings me sweet dreams but also a friend that witnesses maturity in every step of my daily life My room really matches my personality, and I love spending time there “Describe a person you love/ admire and their life has a great influence on you” The person I love and admire most is my mother who has extremely influenced my life My mother is 42 years old this year She’s tall, thin, and especially she has beautiful long black hair The eyes on her gentle face evoke a warm and comfortable feeling with a kindly twinkle These looks always transmit her love, her caring to me; and bring me energy and motivate me to get over problems in my life Although I don’t inherit all the beauty of her appearance, the life lessons she gave are actually the living purpose and personal quality As a kind woman, she always teaches me to take care of myself and help other people, especially, the people who are in difficulties in their life As a generous woman, she asks me to treat other people with tolerance, forgive others’ mistakes but be strict with mine As an optimistic lady, she gives me the belief in life and in myself She motivates me to become a stronger and better woman She is not only the person that brings me to life but also the person that gives me the best life with her kindness, generosity, and unconditional love That is the reason why I love and admire my mother so much My mother is a wonderful woman Sometimes I thought she was not just a normal human being, she is an angel, the best part of the movie named my life I am very happy to have a mother like my mother 6 “Describe a famous and must- live city that you are most impressed” My first visit to Da Nang, the beautiful coastal city, was three years ago It was a pleasant and memorable trip Danang has many destinations which attract tourists We can enjoy from Ba Na Hill on the top of the mountains to the unique Dragon Bridge in the center of the city As a coastal city, Danang has many beautiful beaches such as My Khe beach with clear water and long white sand Ngu Hanh Son mountains system is also one of the tourist attractions with many caves and impressive structures Buddhists can visit Tam Thai pagoda on that mountain or Linh Ung pagoda on the Son Tra peninsula When going to Danang, tourists can go to other famous destinations nearby such as Hue – the ancient capital of Old Street Hoi An Not only is famous for its landscapes, but Danang also attracts tourists because of its cuisine Vietnamese turmeric noodles, noodles with grilled pork, lemongrass pork skewers, or crispy pancake are all traditional cuisine Visitors can choose to relax in five stars hotels or luxury resorts too In addition, local people are very polite, generous and kind All the things above are the reasons why Danang has been visited and loved by visitors Hence, Da Nang is voted to be one of the most worth-living cities in Vietnam “Your future plan after graduation from university” My future plan after graduating from college is to become a bank teller I really want to work in a Vietinbank To achieve that goal, I intend to participate in some professional English training courses as an assistant besides my major If the work requires me to have further knowledge and skills, I will also sign up for some more necessary classes I am going to live and work in the city I try to work hard and earn a lot of money to build a nice house for my parents, and I will buy a small flat However, I am a person with a passion for travel I live and work towards the goal of reaching all parts of the world Traveling helps me learn many things Exposure to a new locality, a special culture, gives me more perspectives on life And I hope that working for Vietinbank will give me opportunities to promote so that I can transfer to different places in Vietnam and work with more kinds of cultures The reality after I finish my student life might be very harsh and challenging, and I have to admit that I am a little afraid of it However, with my determination and effort, I believe that I can have a bright future “You have travelled a lot Write about your most unforgettable holiday” My trip to My Khe beach – Da Nang with my family last summer was so wonderful and unforgettable We traveled by plane to Da Nang which took us about hours As soon as I arrived, I could see the large and beautiful sea And at that moment, I wanted to run quickly to the sea, enjoy the clear blue water and fresh air The weather in Da Nang was wonderful There were many people there swimming, having a sunbath, playing soccer, playing volleyball and surfing; the children built sandcastles on the side of the sea My family and I went back to the hotel to put the luggage Then we had seafood together The service there made me very satisfied The food was very fresh and deliciously cooked After eating and resting, we went to the sea I was immersed in the cool water and the waves It was great!
