**Phó từ tiếng Anh với vai trò là thành phần bổ nghĩa và cách diễn đạt tương đương bằng tiếng Việt trong tiểu thuyết “Love Story” của Erich Segal** Nghiên cứu này nhằm giúp giáo viên tiếng Anh và người học tiếng Anh tại Việt Nam xác định các đặc điểm về mặt chức năng và cấu trúc của phó từ trong tiếng Anh và tiếng Việt, cũng như chỉ ra cách diễn đạt các phó từ trong tiểu thuyết "Love Story" của Erich Segal và cách diễn đạt tương đương trong bản dịch tiếng Việt. Đồng thời, nghiên cứu cũng đưa ra một số gợi ý để cải thiện quá trình dạy-học phó từ tiếng Anh. Để đạt được mục tiêu này, tác giả sử dụng phương pháp mô tả để mô tả chi tiết và sâu sắc về các đặc điểm chức năng và cấu trúc của phó từ tiếng Anh, đối chiếu với cách diễn đạt tương đương bằng tiếng Việt. Trên cơ sở tiếp cận định tính và định lượng, nghiên cứu đã chỉ ra các đặc điểm khác nhau của phó từ tiếng Anh khi đối chiếu với tiếng Việt từ các ví dụ trích xuất từ tiểu thuyết "Love Story". Hơn nữa, dựa trên kết quả khảo sát, tác giả chỉ ra những khó khăn trong việc học phó từ tiếng Anh ở trường phổ thông, do đó nghiên cứu sẽ cung cấp kiến thức toàn diện về các đặc điểm về mặt chức năng và cấu trúc của phó từ trong tiếng Anh....
