employees figure out what to wear to work It can also assist businesses in ensuring that their personnel perform well in meetings and interactions with consumers and clients I investigated the parallels and contrasts between other dress cultures, specifically both American and American culture, based on what I've learnt in AMERICA & VIETNAM BUSINESS ETIQUETTE business etiquette and what I've read on the internet The culture of Vietnam After doing some investigation, I discovered that there isn't much of a difference in clothing code between countries Everyone is expected to dress nicely, cleanly, and modestly Each country, though, has its own dress sense This study discusses the costume differences in business etiquette between the United States and Vietnam based on four Costumes or clothes are things to wear like pants, shirts, skirts, to wear like hats, hats, scarves, and to wear like shoes, sandals, boots, In addition, costumes can also add belts, gloves, jewelry, The most basic function of the costume is to protect the body Next, costumes also have an aesthetic function, beautifying people Because of cultural differences, the costumes of each country and locality have different points The reason comes from the differences in history, civilization level, economy, geography, climate, beliefs, customs, practices Clothing is also something that can help identify class, wearer's class Every day, hundreds of thousands of original ideas about clothes are born to satisfy people's requirements, especially fashionistas around the world, in an era when the fashion business is booming and individual income is rising Clothing in each location is shaped differently, revealing a variety of things such as culture, people, and thoughts Many people in hot areas prefer cool, light textiles Shoe materials and wool, on the other hand, are known to assist people stay cooler in colder temperatures People in the mountains, for example, have learned to dress in a way that is in tune with nature, with colorful clothing that depicts the natural beauty of the highlands Regardless of the variances, the costume must always ensure that the elements are placed in the correct location where they exist, or else they will be overlooked and eliminated later A dress code is a collection of guidelines used by businesses to assist employees in determining what to wear to work It can also help organizations ensure that their employees a good job in meetings and interactions with customers and clients This study discusses the costume differences in business the important factors for you to make a good impression on partners or customers Therefore, each country has its own dress code to match their business culture Accessories From time immemorial, accessories have been indispensable in business culture, especially for women However, in recent years, wearing jewelry accessories is very popular not only for women but also for men, It aids the user in becoming more appealing and earning brownie points from those around them As a result, there exist norms for accessories in business etiquette Color The color matching of clothes and accessories is one of the indispensable elements to create a beautiful outfit The right color scheme will somewhat increase the value of the suits Moreover, it also helps people make a good first impression Style Each country has its own style of dress in accordance with the ideology and lifestyle of that country Depending on the situation, we can choose the right clothes for the style of the place II Contents Clothing  Vietnam MEN In Vietnamese corporate culture, discreet suits and ties are the norm Any kind of light color is not suitable For a business meeting in Vietnam, conservative attire is preferred, with men often wearing dark, unconventional suits and ties However, due to the rather hot climate, it is not common for men to wear a suit, but instead a simple shirt with a little pattern with a pair of dark trousers Jeans may not be appropriate casual wear for both men and women, especially when working for a government agency To go to work, many Vietnamese boys wear Oxfords, Derbies, or loafers Some people wear sneakers, sneakers, etc AMERICA & VIETNAM BUSINESS ETIQUETTE WOMEN Before 1945, the costumes of the Vietnamese people were heavily influenced by feudalism and were divided according to social classes When it comes to events in the ancient Vietnamese wearing culture, the traditional ao dai is the evening dress that many women are most interested in Many people like basic colored dresses and skirts that are appealing and elegant in appearance High bun hairstyles were popular among ancient women Since then, Vietnamese fashion has advanced at a quick pace, with the theme of costumes receiving more attention Vietnamese citizens have begun to wear fashionable clothing in order to keep up with global fashion trends Many women in today's Vietnamese wearing culture like evening dresses that are sophisticatedly made to highlight the body's beauty Women should wear suits or skirts with high necklines over pullovers or other tops Choose soothing, neutral colors like beige and brown In Vietnam, businesswomen should dress modestly in suits or skirts with a high neckline on a shirt or other top Women should make sure their skirts don't go past their knees Flat shoes or extremely low heels are the main footwear options for ladies, especially if you are substantially taller than your hosts, due to the reliance on traditional, modest dress in Vietnamese business culture Only a formal reception hosted by a foreign envoy calls for high AMERICA & VIETNAM BUSINESS ETIQUETTE heels Jeans aren't always appropriate for both men and women, especially when working for the government  America The American workplace dress code has become more relaxed over the last decade, with a focus on convenience rather than tradition Formal attire is frequently worn for specialized jobs, such as back, or for special occasions and celebrations In the United States, dress codes differ greatly based on a person's location, industry, geography, and specific business arrangements It's always a good idea to dress up for the initial meeting and then figure out what to wear to the next gathering It is not uncommon in the United States to see people dressed in a variety of styles at the same conference You won't mind dressing up after your first meeting, or even dressing better than other attendees You will notice that your American partner dresses more casually than you On most days you should be able to wear a nice dress or button-down shirt, however standards may vary by country MEN Suits are a type of professional apparel for men that consists of a pair of pants and a matching jacket, as well as a tie in the same color as their suit and accessories Wear dark shoes with matching socks and a belt to complete the look Socks should match your shoes, shorts, or full outfit, and be long enough to stretch over the leg when sitting so that the skin on your foot is not exposed AMERICA & VIETNAM BUSINESS ETIQUETTE However, still many people not wear a vest to work as a regular thing, they will usually just wear a company uniform or some suit that helps them feel comfortable when working but still looks neat and polite like is a pair of trousers and a simple clean shirt WOMEN Women have more options when it comes to dress variety as they can also wear skirts, however skirts must be knee-length or longer In addition, they frequently wear off-shoulder tops with jackets and bright cool fabric shirts to appear more opulent For the initial meeting, businesswomen can wear business suits, blouses, or casual slacks Formal shoes, heels, loafers, open-toe and closed-toe leather shoes, and clean, polished attire are all appropriate options Accessories AMERICA & VIETNAM BUSINESS ETIQUETTE  Vietnam People in Vietnam use conventional accessories to demonstrate their riches and status; they want to stand out, and they rarely consider whether the accessories are appropriate Vietnamese people frequently choose the appropriate accessories To improve the appeal of events, choose bright, shiny colors In Vietnam, wearing or carrying an item to a meeting demonstrates money, and because it is obvious that it is a luxury, people will have high expectations of you If you wear too many accessories, though, you may make a negative impression on people MEN Men in Vietnam, like most other countries, wear leather belts, ties, watches, towels in vest pockets, and glasses In addition, they also have wallets and bags Few men are self-assured enough to wear rings Many Vietnamese men believe that a wedding band is the only ring a man should wear In Vietnam, leather bags are commonly used to store documents and other necessities The accessories that come with well-known fashion labels add to a man's elegance and nobility WOMEN 10 AMERICA & VIETNAM BUSINESS ETIQUETTE Compared to men, women have a variety of accessories In business, to make the right impression, many businesswomen wear high-end jewelry, not too flashy and not too expensive Women's leather handbags in Vietnam are indispensable accessories in office women's fashion, both being a close friend and enhancing your stylish style Moreover, a pocket scarf or a hat that matches the outfit Although it is just a few small accessories, it can be the highlight of the whole outfit to help a woman become more luxurious and youthful  America In the United States, people frequently choose dark, simple, and compact accessories to go with their outfits, and these accessories will reveal part of the owner's personality and lifestyle Because call centers are an informal working environment, domestic gems are plentiful There is no need to label titles or heirlooms Decide on your best Sunday instead Conservators, on the other hand, say that a modest gold bracelet, souvenir jewelry, or an exceptional ring appears clean Choose one or two items of jewelry to complete your ensemble MEN In international business, accessories are accepted by wearing only a simple or minimal accessory Belts are simple, yet they are preferred by many guys all over the world since they serve to tie an outfit together Ties and bows make suits and men look sleek and professional, which is why they're frequently used at formal gatherings, just as bows are Some gentlemen wearing a tie clip with cufflinks just adds a little something to your gentleman style They also wear a scarf that matches the color of their belt or other accessories to complete the fashionable look Finally, for businesspeople, watches are the most important thing WOMEN Wearing or necklace complement the outfit's color scheme Leather handbags and wallets for women are also vital work essentials for many women around the world Hats, belts, sunglasses, watches, and other accessories are worn by a few women Women, on the other hand, are frequently chastised for wearing too many accessories at once or for wearing too showy accessories The outfit people will lose points as a result of this Color  Vietnam Light and dark colored suits and ties, as in most other countries, fit into Vietnamese corporate culture Clothes that are too bright or too bright can create a to distinguish themselves, certain ethnic groups in Vietnam wear distinctive clothes In Vietnamese business culture, light colored suits and ties are the norm Light color does not match The accepted
