LESSON PLAN UNIT 10 (cont.): OUR HOUSES IN THE FUTURE – LOOKING BACK (ENGLISH 6) OBJECTIVES: By the end of this lesson, students can remember and use what they have learnt during the unit to help them to each exercise so that Ss can use that information to complete the selfassessment box at the end of the unit TIMING TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES STUDENT’S ACTIVITIES CONTENT Warm up: 5’ - Teacher asks students to play games to help them feel more excited “ Good morning, everybody How are you today? Are you OK/ well/ ?” “ Do you want to play games?Yes, look at the question and four answers carefully and then choose the correct answer” Are you clear?/ What you have to now?” - Teacher calls students read the answers and choose the correct answer - Teacher gives feedback “good job/ well done” - Teacher leads into new lesson “ Today, we are going to review vocabulary and structures that we have learnt in skill & through doing - T review vocabulary by asking Ss to play games - There are ten questions, T calls ten students to join the games and give the keys exercises 1,2,3,4 &5” 8’ - Teacher shows students some pictures to review old vocabularies “Look at the picture and say their names’ Ex: a- robot… Now, say‘individual’ - Teacher checks the exercise through Matching “Now, let’s match the words II.Presentation:  Vocabulary: things in nature -Ask SS to write the words that match the pictures and compare their answers with a partner - Some SS read the words aloud, T checks their answers EX 1- Write the correct words under pictures robot automatic dishwasher wireless T.V in column A with the right pictures in column B” - Teacher gives feedback “Class, class, class Let’s check Very nice work” - Teacher shows pictures and these sentences on the board “We are going to think and talk about what the appliances will in the future First, let’s read these sentences and then talk what they will in the future” - Teacher listens and gives feedback “good job/ well done” 20’ - Teacher asks students to review grammar by doing three sentences and then complete the sentences “Class, review grammar, examples and complete these sentences Ok!
