They are playing football He is watching T.V They are riding a bike Yes She is writing No,she isn’t She is skipping Actions now THE PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE The present continuous * Grammar: (Thì tiếp diễn) We use the present continuous for actions happening now Example: - She’s talking - They’re not talking * Form: S + am/ is/ are + V-ing We can use the present continuous with now, at present, or at the moment Example: - I’m doing my homework at present - A: Are you reading now? B: Yes, I am Game: Lucky numbers LUCKY NUMBER! A: your friend / swim? Is your friend swimming? B: Yes, he is A: they / listen to music? Are they listening to music? B: No, they aren’t (They’re / They are having a picnic.) A: Mi / play the piano? Is Mi playing the piano? B: No, she isn’t (She’s / She is doing karate.) A: they / learn English?
