From Insert pull-down menu, select

Sheetmetal Wall -> Unattached -> Flat

Pick the FRONT datum plane as sketching plane, and TOP datum plane as top reference orientation

Select two lines (equal segments), or two arc/circle;

Create a Bend feature using the Bend, Roll, w/ Transition, Part Bend Tbl, and Inside Rad options

Pick the front surface of the sheet metal as sketching plane

Planar Pick the top edge of sheet metal as additional reference Done Quit L_ ee | FRONT First, sketch the bend line as shown in the Figure

Sketch the transition area as shown

Figure Make sure the sketch the line

Pick the [Js icon to create a Bend Back feature

Select the same edge to remain fixed as when

unbending, and choose Bendback All when prompted

for the bends to bend back

Use Pick From List option to select the E2IE3IESIE==1 back surface of the last wall created for

the sketching plane, choose Okay for the viewing direction, and select Default to orient the part as shown in Figure below

Select two vertices as additonal references for

Sketch the line as shown and align the endpoints to the part vertices

Sketch the bend line (see Figure) Choose Flip -> Okay for the side to create the bend and Okay for the area to remain fixed Enter a value of 90 for the bend angle and 0.012 for the outside radius value

Note: Flip -> Okay etc depends on your features creation Make sure you read the message and watch the arrow direction before you execute this command

Create the same Bend on the other side of the clip

Create a Bend with the same options but select the sketching references as shown in Figure (Sketching plane is the bottom surface of tab located at the bottom) Pick the appropriate references, sketch, and dimension as shown in Figure below, choose Okay for the bend side and Flip for the area to be fixed Enter 90 for the bend angle and 0.012 for the outside bend radius

Add one more bend similar to the last four to

close off this end of the clip Refer to Figure on the left [ 0.01 2 ra = Smooth the sharp corners of your design model by creating rounds on some of the sharp edges
