Besides, listening skill is still a challenge for both teachers and students My research is the quasi-experiment to search for an appropriate approach to solve this problem The objective of this study is to identify whether the movies watching increase student’s listening comprehension or not I divide participants into two groups, the experimental group and the control group The experimental group watches one episode approximately twenty minutes per week within eight weeks The movie is quite humorous with familiar topic, the vocabulary and the syntax are not difficult The results of research show that the scores of the post-test in the experimental group is better than in the control group Thus the movies watching shows an effective way in increasing student’s listening comprehension iii
