(1)GIÁO ÁN TIẾNG ANH 6- HỌC KI II LESSON PLAN School: Phạm Văn Đồng University Class: Teacher: Lê Thị Thu Dung Teaching day… Period 73 Leson UNIT 12 SPORTS AND PASTIME Section B : Free time (B1,2,3) Aims : Help practice simple present tense and vocabulary about activites in free time Objectives:After the lesson ,Ss will able to use simple present tense, can describe activities in the free time Teacher aids: Book ,pictures,tape,cassette,objects of teaching Teaching methood:Community,technique,adroitnesse TIME CONTENTS TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES STUDENT’S ACTIVITIES 1.WARM UP: -Greetings -Greetings -Greetings 5’ - Ask Ss some question about their -Calls Ss to stand up and give -Stand up and answer the activities in free time the questions teacher’s question 15’ 2.PRESENTATION: Pre-teach: -Go to the movies -Listen to music -Watch TV -Go fishing -Read books -Play video games - Uses picture on P.127 to -Listen introduce new words -Repeat - Modals and writes them on Bb -Copy down Matching: Listen Go Watch Play Go read Television A book Fishing To the movies To music Video game - Ask the students to review the present simple tense - Model sentences: -What do/does + S +do in possessive pronouns + free time? → S + V(s,es) + O (nouns of pastimes) 3.PRACTICE: - Ask about their pastimes -Write these words on black board -2 Ss go to the boards -Calls Ss to stand up and give the questions -Student review and answer -Give the models -Explains how to use form -Write down - Call some student to work in -Practice in pairs (2) 20’ - Ex on the page 127: Have the student listen to tape twice - Ask the S to read the sentences one by one - Correct their pronunciations pair - Call a student give the question - Correct their pronunciations -Lisen to the tape - Ex on the 127: Ask the student to practice whit a partner using the question ‘What you in your free time?’ - Correct their pronunciations - Ex on the page 128: Get the student to listen to the tape twice - Ask the student to repeat follow the tape in chorus - Have Ss work in pair -Work in pair -Call on some pairs to read the dialogue in front the class -Practice in front of the class -Ask Ss to listen to the tape -Lisen to the tape and answer - Correct their pronunciations - Get the student to look at the picture of ex on the page 127 - Correct their pronunciations -Ss read again -Practice with a patner.Ask and answer questions about the pictures in exercise B1 -Practice in front of the class -Writes homework on Bb -Copy down - Have the student work in pair to ask about them EX: What does Phuong in his free time? - He goes to the movies 5’ 4.HOMEWORK: - Write sentences about activities in your free time - Prepare the next lesson -Ss read again -Prepare the next lesson (3)
