Adam That’s my great-grandfather, Alexei. He was born in Russia, but after the Revolution he moved to Sweden. Madelaine Did he stay in Sweden? Adam No, he didn’t. He stayed there for only a few months, I think. Then he moved to France. He didn’t stay there very long, either. Madelaine Oh, what did he do? Adam Will, he wanted to go back to Russia, but it was too dangerous. So he decided to come to the USA. Madelaine And did he stay here? Adam Yes, he did. Madelaine Is he still alive?
