Speaking phần cuối kì thi IELTS, phần mà bạn nói chuyện trực tiếp với examiner khoảng từ 11 – 15 phút
Phần speaking giống cho Academic General module, test record lại, nhiên phần record lại để kiểm tra xem examiners có theo tiến trình hay khơng, khơng phải để chấm điểm cho bạn
Một speaking test gồm section:
Section 1: – phút
(10)thích… Nói chung câu hỏi cho lần gặp gỡ người Thông thường phần chia thành phần nhỏ:
- sub-section 1: hỏi tên, tuổi, người nước nào, ID… - sub-section 2: hỏi thân, gia đình, cơng việc
- sub-section 3: hỏi vấn đề sở thích, câu hỏi chọn từ câu hỏi mẫu, ví dụ Do you enjoy traveling and why/why not?
Như bạn thấy, phần chung dễ lấy điểm Vì vậy, thực tập thật nhiều để gây ấn tượng tốt, để lấy tinh thần cho phần sau
Phần câu hỏi đơn giản, nhiên bạn không nên trả lời ngắn gọn, mà đừng dài, giống học thuộc trước Ví dụ bạn hỏi:
Where are you living?
Không nên trả lời: I am living in HCM city
Mà trả lời (hoặc thế): I am living in HCM city, this is the biggest city in Vietnam and I like this city the most rather than others
Hoặc bạn trả lời nghe thú vị hơn, chẳng hạn: I am living in distric 3, HCM city This is also the place that my mom and father fell in love together and I was born there as well.
Section 2: – phút
Bạn nhận chủ đề nói khoảng – phút Tuy nhiên trước bạn có phút để chuẩn bị ý bạn nói, bạn cung cấp giấy viết để take note Chú ý rằng, bạn có tối đa phút để nói chủ đề đó, cố gắng nói nhiều tốt nào examiner stop bạn, bạn khơng bị trừ điểm nói q nhiều đâu

Hãy ghi lại ý bạn nói ví dụ như:
- Nơi đâu, lần bạn đến đó: Nha Trang, july 2000 - Đến gì, với ai: plane, my family…
- Mình thường làm đó: visit relative, swimming…
(11)Chỉ nên ghi ý bạn nói, khơng ghi q dài bạn có phút, bí bịa ra, khơng có hay sai cả, điều quan trọng keep talking until the examiner stop you.
Thông thường, đề mở đầu cho phần bạn nói: I am going to talk about my favorite holiday destination….
Section 3: – phút
Ở phần này, bạn hỏi câu hỏi liên quan đến chủ đề mà bạn nói section Thơng thường phần yêu cầu bạn có khả sử dụng nhiều cấu trúc câu khác từ vựng nói Ví dụ với đề trên, câu hỏi cho phần như: • Can you predict any major changes that could happen in the Tourist Industry over the next 50 years?
• Can you compare the tourist industry in your country today with the tourist industry when your grandparents were young?Can you identify some of the factors that have led to the Industry success of the airline industry?
Chú ý speaking:
- Ln nhìn thẳng vào mắt examiner bạn nói, điều thể tơn trọng người đối diện, smile
- Cố gắng tạo thân thiện giống trò truyện người bạn
- Nếu bạn nói nói sai mặt ngữ pháp hay phát âm, đừng lo lắng, nói lại, người sứ họ làm examiner không ghi lại lỗi phần speaking bạn đâu
- Đừng tỏ clever, cần trả lời câu hỏi trị truyện hàng ngày Nếu nói q nhiều, bạn tự làm khó mình, bạn nhận thêm câu hỏi Why, Where…?
