The RLXIOR supports intelligent loopbacks and span powers intelligent repeater modules and network interface devices. ADC’s Soneplex system is the lowest total cost solution for carriers to grow their T1-based business services. Focused on providing flexible, end-to-end solutions, the Soneplex system saves carriers money on T1-based services over copper or fiber, using HDSL, HDSL2, traditional T1 repeater or optical DS2 technology, in a single platform. It monitors, collects and reports DS1 line and path performance data to the Main Processor Unit which directly interfaces to a remote operation support system (OSS) for enhanced network management, circuit visibility and system control. Fully NEBS compliant, including the GR-1089 Class A3 specification, the RLXIOR utilizes a constant current 60 mA power design at +/-130 VDC, making it safe for network deploy- ment and span powering of remote elements. The RLXIOR is simple to install and circuit provisioning and service turn-up are fast. The Soneplex Loop Extender or Soneplex Broadband system can support up to 28 RLXIOR modules for cost-effective T1-based service delivery.
