Capital letter – Chữ Hoa ◦ the first letter of a:
- sentence
- country, nationality, language
- religion
- person‟s name and title
- organization name
- trademark
- day, month
◦ the first letters of some words in the titles of books,
magazines, stories, poems, movies, art works, etc
◦ some letters in some abbreviations (Mrs., TV)

- between parts of a sentence - before and, or, and but beginning a clause - before and after a phrase that gives information - before an introductory word or phrase - to separate quoted speech ◦ at the end of each item in a list
