Warm up : Answer the question

Look at the picture and answer the question (A picture about things in the living-room) What is this ?

Presentation: Set the scene

Dialogue build:

Mai and Lan are talking about living-room in their house Mai wants to know things in Lan’s living-room what will Lan ask? Mai : How many doors are there in your living-room ? Lan : There’s one

Mai : How many stools are there ? Lan : There are four

Grammar note:

Practice:

- Picture drill: (T draw some pictures) Example exchange:

S1: How many {desks} are there? S2: There are {six}

T puts the picture on the board T asks and ss answer

o Now look at the poster o Mai and Lan are talking
