PRE – WRITING:
- Ask student to read the narrative in task 1 - Explain some new words

WHILE - WRITING: - Ask students to task 2
- Explain to Ss the format of a narrative: the events, the climax and the conclusion
- Tell Ss to work in groups and identify the events, climax, and the conclusion of the story - Goes around and helps
- Ask them to report the results to class - Checks (corrects)
AFTER - WRITING: Task 3
- Ask students to keep book open
- Ask them to use the prompts to build up a narrative about a hotel fire
- Let students work individually - Walk round and help students
- Do task in groups - suggested answer
