distinguish the clusters / ts/,/dz/,/ t s/ and / dzd/, pronounce them correctly - use both and, not only but also, either or, neither nor and cleft sentences in the passive correctly( subject focus, object focus, and adverbial focus) * Teaching aids : Textbook, lesson plan , pictures, posters * Procedures : Time 5’ 10’ Contents I Warmer: Kim’s Games II Pronunciation Modal /ts/: meets, sits /dz/: reads, kids /tst/: watched, reached / dzd/: bridged, raged Practising sentences 11’ III Grammar: A Cleft sentences in passive voice Lop11.com Teacher’s activities - guide Ss to play the games Ss’ activities Take part in the games - model the three clusters /ts/ ,/dz/, /tst/ and /dzd/ for a few times and explains the differences in producing them - read once for Ss to hear the words containing these clusters Reads again and asks Ss to repeat after the teacher -
