UNIT : AT SCHOOL Period : 11 LESSON: C MY SCHOOL (2,3,4)

Date of preparation : September 20th, 2009 Date of teaching : October 6th, 2009 Classes : 6A3 , 6A4, 6A5

I. Aims and objectives :

* Language content : To introduce the students something relating to things in the class room

To enable them to use the question and answer about those things * Laguage function: To help them a chance to practise asking and answering about things in the pictures

* Educational aim: To make the students aware of the names of things around them, to teach them how to keep it clean and beuatiful

1. Language :

a.Vocabulary: basket - bag - pencil - ruler - board – clock – waste – door – windown – pen – eraser

b.Structures: This is my school That’s my class

What’s this? / What’s that? It’s book

2 Skills : Speaking – Listening - Reading - Writing

3 Educational factor : Knowing to love their school and keep thwm green clean and tidy

II. Teacher’s and students’ preparation : 1 Method : Communicative Approach

Techniques:Repetition, asking, answering, playing game (matching game) Material needed:pictures real things cassette

Students’ preparation:school’s things look up some words

5 Previous exercises: exercise 3,4,5,6 on page 13 in the exercise books III. PROCEDURES IN CLASS :

1 Stabilization: 2 minutes a.Warm–up:greetings make greetings

b.Checking absence:monitors reports the absent students

2 Checking up previous knowledges: Time needed:5 minutes * Questions:where you live? – spell your name – write some words * Keys to questions:

-Asks the students to sing the song A-B-C

-Asks them what’s their name and asks them to spell it -Shows the picture of some good singers such as Hong Nhung, My Linh Asks the students their name Asks them to spell

-Introduces some new words ( using the pictures and realia) + board (n)
