Period 1+2: A1+3+4+5 I Objectives:

Students will be able to greet people (old friends/ new friends/ teachers) on their first day of school; make self-introduction as well as introduce another person

II Skills:

- Listening: conversations between student – student, student – teacher - Speaking: greetings and introduction

Week (Aug – Aug 8) UNIT 1: Back to school

Period 3+4: A2 V Objectives:

Students will be able to develop their reading skills – find the information from the reading text to answer the questions Besides, they can also learn a lot of vocabulary and sentence structures, which contributes to improve their listening and speaking skills

VI Skills:

- Reading: skimming

- Speaking: Talk about thoughts/ feelings

- Writing: short paragraph on thoughts/ feelings and solutions

- Ask new Ss to share with the whole class about their feelings when they first entered this school

5’ Pre-reading - Ask Ss to look at the picture (p.11) and predict the main content of the text
