Diễn tả hành động khơng có thực tương lai
If + S + simple past (quá khứ đơn), S + past future ( would) + V
Ví dụ: If I were the president, I would build more hospitals (Nếu tổng thống, xây nhiều bệnh viện hơn)
Lưu ý:
- Mệnh đề “If” đặt trước mệnh đề ta phải dùng dấu phẩy “,”
- Các động từ khuyết thiếu (could, might, had to,…) dùng để thay “would” mệnh đề
- Đơi đơn dùng mệnh đề chính, diễn tả quy luật, thật hiển nhiên, điều kiện luôn

Exercise 3: Write a sentence with if… for each situation
