By the end of the lesson, ss will have a good chance to review: The past simple tense ( irregular verbs)

The past simple tense with “wish” ( irregular verbs) Skills :

LESSON 1: GETTING STARTED AND LISTEN AND READ

A.The objectives:

1 The aims of the lesson

By the end of the lesson ss will be able to:

- Listen and read a passage about the ao dai for general or detailed information

Skills :

+ Speaking : Ask and answer questions on personal preferences

+ Listening : Listen to monologues or dialogues within about 100-120 words for general or detailed information

+ Reading : Read passages within 150-180 words for general or detailed information

+ Writing : Write an argument letter with a frame using suggested ideas or word cues

I. Knowleges:

+ Standard : Read and understand the passage : Know about the design of the ao dai and its development

Complete the sentences by filling the information from the text

Answer the questions about the text

+ Higher : Ask and answer some more difficult questions about the text Language contents:

a.Vocabulary: poet, poetry, tunic, pant, design, fashion, inspiration, material, ethnic minority, slit, unique, symbol, subject
