[7mn] Exercise a) [pairwork] 1. Have SS to recognize each kind of the letters in textbook. 2. T. has SS define these words in Vietnamese. 3. Teacher has SS work in pairs, reading aloud the filled-in sentences, have other SS comment and then makes corrections. Exercise b) While-writing Exercise c) • Teacher introduces the aim of the lesson: The format of three letters: a letter of invitation, a letter of acceptance and a letter of refusal • Teacher call SS’s attention to the format of a letter. • Has SS work individually and share with their teammates. Post-writing • SS chooses 3 letters and has SS copy them onto the board. • Gives comments and make corrections. • Has the authors read their own letters. SS are expected to choose the second one.
