in the sea Through this project, I learned how to work in groups, how to deal with problems and how to create a specific plan, design signs and posters with the message: “limit the use of plastic bags because of a green, clean and beautiful environment ” Besides, I also understand my strengths and weaknesses and the members of the team to improve the project later I wish that my project can help people to pay attention to the harmful effects of plastic bags and create positive action for the community Before implementing this campaign, I had the opportunity to interview people living in the area around the sea, tourists about the current situation of plastic waste in Danang beaches today Most people think that the situation is very serious, plastic bags and plastic bottles appear everywhere and people not care about the harmful effects of it Some people even think that environmental protection is not their business, so they not comply with waste disposal in the right place Moreover, the government's policies on protecting the marine environment have not been effective and have not caused much impact on the people Recognizing these problems, I began to design posters and signs about the enormous harms that plastic waste brings I have posted posters all over the trash bins around the beach so that people can easily see them as well as trying to propagate to people who need to pay more attention to environmental protection Several difficulties occurred during the campaign, such as the lack of cooperation between citizens and tourists in protecting the environment as well as spending a lot of time persuading the authorities to put posters around the beach The lack of cooperation in the working process of the members Tien, Tien rarely came to class, did not participate in group exercises, so only the other two members carried out this project Tien frequently cited the reason for being ill and did not cooperate with her group members In that case, Nguyet and I try to arrange the time to complete the project as quickly and best as possible The lack of Tien's cooperation has had a great impact on the project implementation as well as causing negative results for the project After finishing that campaign, I went back directly to the beach to conduct surveys of people around me People believe that this project is successful and has high value to the community People, as well as tourists, are more aware of dumping waste in the right place No more plastic bags or bottles on the beach Besides, people have also made suggestions for me to improve outstanding issues as well as spread this project across the country For me, this project helps me be more responsive to the community, creating good values for those around me SUMMARY: This project was assigned for us by our tutor to develop our skill of planning and managing a collaborative project By collecting mandatory evidences and doing secondary research, we can now improve our designing skills, marketing skills and open up a lot of opportunities of meeting and working with larger influencers in graphic design community Our plastic project started with the guide of teacher Minh Anh, it talks about the propaganda and condemnation of plastic waste in the daily life of people in Da Nang and how people reacte to it, how their mind change because of our project All the works has completed quite well, although there were some problems has stagnanted the project and the team work is not easy as it seem to be, but after all we still completed it together This experiment will be the small step on our way to the future with more challenge and in another ways, it could help us how to get to know some people by working with them AIMS: The first things lead us to this project is
