II Create an account Go to Google.nl and search for ‘Chemdraw’ Click on the result that is shown above Click on the button register in the right upper corner - 2 - Make sure that you fill in your ….@student.uva.nl Email Address, otherwise you won’t receive a serial key to activate the program later And choose a password of your own choice After filling in your personal information you will have to select the following things in Professional Information: Primary role – Student Sub role – Undergraduate student Industry – This is not really important, just select something random (e.g Organic Chemistry) Organization – Universiteit Van Amsterdam (so don’t choose VU) - 3 - Finally, unbox all the notifications (unless you would like PerkinElmer spam in your mailbox) Choose language – English and Currency – eur and click on Register You will receive an email with the product key which is needed to activate ChemDraw Note that there are two different codes, one for Windows and one for Mac - 4 - If you go back to the PerkinElmer website and login to your account, you will get the screen shown above Click on My Site Subscription in the Services box on the right Click on Download Site Subscription Software Note that this page also shows you who to contact whenever you have trouble with your ChemDraw Subscription - 5 - The screen shown above will appear and you can install the ChemDraw software Note that there are different links for Windows and Mac - 6 - After installation you need to activate the ChemDraw software by using the Serial number (and registration code for Mac) you received by mail (mentioned on page 4) Now you are all set to use ChemDraw Professional!
