Getting Started
Begin patterning by doing a simple clap, snap, clap, snap pattern with your hands, Have your child join in Say the words “clap” and
“snap” as you do it, Repeat this 8 or 10 times until your child is
confidently saying it with you Then, switch to saying “A” instead of “clap” and “B" instead of “snap.”
Cracker Patterns
