CGS00019909 Business Research Methods P a g e / 69 their superiors, with their work, will greatly affect their productivity, working performance, affecting the overall development of the corporation CHAPTER ONE: INTRODUCTION About VINGROUP Vingroup Joint Stock Company (Vingroup JSC), formerly known as Technocom, was founded in Ukraine in 1993 by an ambitious group of Vietnamese youths Technocom began with food production and quickly found great success with the Mivina brand During the early years of the 21st century, Technocom was ranked among Ukraine’s Top 100 largest and most influential companies In 2000, Technocom - Vingroup returned to Vietnam with ambition to contribute the country’s development Emphasizing sustainable long-term development, Vingroup initially focused investments on real estate and hospitality through two key brands, Vincom and Vinpearl Ten years of hard work and dedication turned Vincom into one of Vietnam’s premier real estate brands with a number of mixed-used developments in major cities, combining modern shopping malls, offices and luxury apartments in a single complex, leading the trend towards smart, eco-luxury urban projects in Vietnam Alongside Vincom Vinpearl has also become the leader in Vietnam’s tourism industry, featuring international 5-star and above hotels, resorts, beach villas, amusement parks and golf courses DOAN NGOC BAO TRAN - CGS00019909 Business Research Methods P a g e / 69 In January 2012, Vinpearl JSC merged into Vincom JSC to form Vingroup JSC The new structure ensures sustained development and allows Vingroup to focus on developing its strategic brands: Vinhomes (Luxury serviced apartments and villas) Vincom (Premium shopping malls) Vinpearl (Hotels & Resorts) Vinpearl Land (Entertainment) Vinmec (Healthcare services) Vinschool (Education) VinCommerce (VinMart, VinPro, Adayroi, VinDs ) Almaz (The International Cuisine & Convention Center) VinEco Vingroup continues to pioneer and lead consumer trends in each of its businesses introducing Vietnamese consumers to a brand new, modern life-style with international-standard products and services Vingroup has created a respected, wellrecognized Vietnamese brand and is proud to be one of the nation’s leading private enterprises With these achievements, Vingroup is recognized as one of the most dynamic, successful, well-capitalized companies in Vietnam, well-positioned for international integration and comparable to the best regional and global peers a History and Major Achievements DOAN NGOC BAO TRAN - CGS00019909 Business Research Methods  P a g e / 69 2001 July 2001, Hon Tre Trading & Tourism Ltd Company was established in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa - a region known for beautiful beaches, fine and clean sand, clear ocean water and mild temperatures year round Nha Trang bays and nearby attractions such as the Van Phong Gulf and the Nha Phu Swamp gave the area high potential for tourism The 5-star Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang hotel was one of the very first projects undertaken by the company  2002 Vincom Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Vietnam Commercial General Joint Stock Company, was officially tablished on May 3, 2002 in Hanoi Vincom was engaged in residential, retail, and commercial real estate, along with construction and trading DOAN NGOC BAO TRAN - CGS00019909 Business Research Methods P a g e 49 / 69 management at Vingroup High requirements for staff recruitment, rich work experience, many years Regulations for personnel in the corporation, support, enthusiasm in the work, training program, regular training, full and detailed regulations to all departments - The results from the study give the company a holistic view of the employee's perceptions of work relationships with company leaders, their abilities, and personal development in the work environment, Develop the individual in the organization, regulations, policies and welfare of the group, goals and objectives strive for clear and responsible work processes - And more importantly, the maximum support between people and people, employees and superiors, regardless of whether difficult, easy, high, low, benefit or disadvantage for themselves, but to think of the common good is Complete the work at the highest level, which is most beneficial to the corporation 19 Limitation of Research - However, there are a number of limitations to this topic: the research is only descriptive statistics; the standard measurement model has not been used to evaluate the satisfaction of the staffs of the higher level as well as Vingroup leaders Only shows the status of Vingroup at the time of the survey - Besides, the surveys conducted in slightly short time Most of employees of Vingroup have to concentrate on their daily work Fulfilment the questionnaire seemed not to be their priority To fulfil the survey, they have to spend their DOAN NGOC BAO TRAN - CGS00019909 Business Research Methods P a g e 50 / 69 break or free time The survey doer had to spend a lot of time for explaining and convincing them joining in the survey - And the samples are very small Only focus related contents at Vingroup and also can’t be generalized for other companies - And the survey respondents are more qualified and different perceptions about Organizational Commitment as well as the contents of survey shall be more grammatical errors because of English - Vietnamese translation progress, it may cause confusion for the reader when they answer - Vietnam joined the WTO, and TTP, such experience, working in the real estate industry is very important - This experience is reflected in the understanding of international law, business skills, negotiation skills and working knowledge of the culture of the countries in the world Vingroup should strengthen recruitment specialist team, experienced staff and trained - Besides, Vingroup should strengthen foreign language training to develop overseas services, to create efficient working environments as well as shared dynamic, strengthening and development work experience for employees Vietnam - This will contribute to the cohesion of employees with Vingroup; affect the competitive advantage of the efficiency of employees and help Vingroup sustainable development DOAN NGOC BAO TRAN - CGS00019909 Business Research Methods P a g e 51 / 69 REFERENCES  Dail L Fields (2002) Taking the Measure of Work – A Guide to Validated Scales for Organizational research and Diagnosis Sage Publications, Inc  Job Satisfaction Relative to Expectations (Bacharach, Bamberger, and Conley 1991 (pp.6) In Blau (1999), coefficient alpha was 89.,  Job Satisfaction Survey (pp.14-15).Coefficient alpha values for the entire measure ranged from 88 to (Moorman, 1991; Pillai, Schriesheim, & Williams, 1999; Shore, Newton & Thornton, 1990)  Coefficient alpha values for the six-item version ranged from 83 to 90 (Agho et al., 1993; Agho et al., 1992; Aryee et al., 1999; Judge, Locke, Durham, & Kluger, 1998), Overall Job Satisfaction (pp.18)  Coefficient alpha was 87 (Wayne, Shore, & Liden, 1997), Developmental Experiences (pp.109)  Efere P (2005) Motivation and Job Satisfaction, Trans-Atlantic College, London  Sahin, F (2012) “The mediating effect of leader-member exchange on the relationship between X and Y theory management styles and effective commitment: A multilevel analysis” Journal of Management and Organization, 18 (2), 159–174 DOAN NGOC BAO TRAN -
