Aims: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to: - Scan for specific information - Answer the questions Knowledge: • - General knowledge: Students can gain knowledge of some international organizations and their roles in the world. - Language: Giving Vietnamese equivalents to words and phrases - New words: Words related to International Organizations B. Teaching aids: Textbook, posters, pictures. C. Teaching method: Communicative approach and pictures of the logos of relevant international organizations D. Procedure: TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES I. WARM – UP ( 5') Teacher (T) guides students (Ss) to look at the logo of the United Nations and those of some other organizations and answer the guiding questions. 1. While reading : Task1: Choose the best words in the box to complete the following sentences - Ask students to read through the text once and Students look at the pictures and answer the questions based on their background knowledge. 1.
