Do you use the internet often? Yes, I use the Internet constantly through day, every day I mainly use it for entertainment reasons like browsing news sites, playing video games or watching movies It’s also a useful educational tool with a huge range of online lessons and teaching videos How you imagine your life without internet? Oh, I would be like any citizen of North Korea…Just kidding The internet is my source for TV programs, music, news, and research, so without the Internet, everything would be very difficult The people I've met would not exist without it, and my life would be drastically different and monotonous Should children be introduced to the internet at an early age? I would definitely say no They might be exposed to incorrect and inaccurate information on the internet which they tend to believe that it’s true Besides, children may suffer from health problems because they less exercise and have less social interaction with others surrounding them What you think about working in groups? In my opinion, working in a team is a great way for me to sharpen my interpersonal, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Although we may sometimes have dissents, we could learn from each other, sharing good ideas and making our relationships closer Have you done any research on a subject? What you think about it? Yes, I have done many research proposals in Linguistics before Like any researcher, I had to work very hard and seriously to discriminate between sources, sift information and marshal facts But I had wonderful chances to learn advanced knowledge and gain useful experience Situation: You are assigned to collect information about a certain city in the country Among the following actions, which you think is the most suitable method: Searching on the Internet, asking people around you, or going to the town yourself? INTRODUCTION BODY I BODY II CONCLUSION INTRODUCTION People have many methods when they want to gather data about a place: seeking out on the Internet, questioning other inhabitants or going to the city themselves If I had to this task, I would decide to travel to the place by myself BODY I Firstly, going to the town myself would show my responsibility to the task and satisfy my curiosity Secondly, I would have a deep understanding about the place because you know, observation is the best teacher For these reasons, I believe that the result would be very reliable   BODY II There are several reasons why I don’t choose the other options Actually, searching on the Internet may be the quickest way to collect information but I’m not sure if the information is true or not It may be unreliable and inaccurate Secondly, I don’t think that asking inhabitants around me is a good method There is no way to tell how truthful a respondent is and, the respondent may be forgetful or give me the answer that is outdated CONCLUSION In short, if I were in the situation, I would opt to find out the place by myself because I think this method is the most accurate and reliable one Students studying overseas encounter various problems INTRODUCTION Studying abroad is a hot trend among students nowadays However, it’s not always as fascinating as it sounds Students studying in a foreign country could suffer from the mental, emotional and financial problems because of the following reasons BODY I Firstly, when people arrive in a new country, they are cut off from a familiar culture and they have to experience a totally different surroundings and norms, which leads to the feeling of disorientation, insecurity, anxiety and overall unhappiness BODY II Secondly, students may find themselves in debt because of severe shortage of parental financial support and their poor money management skill Besides, communication barrier is another challenge for students Even when a student thought he was fluent, it’s also difficult for him to understand the strong local accent Walls would arise in the form of local nuances, slang, forgotten vocabulary and more.  BODY III Many students have to study overseas against their will I mean, they just study because their parents want them to study This makes them easily upset while confronting with even a small problem In my opinion, homesickness is also one of the major obstacles Students miss their family so bad that they couldn’t focus on anything, reducing their performance at school That’s all I want to say about this topic   Do you think studying abroad is beneficial? Why/ why not? I strongly believe that studying overseas brings about a ton of plus points for students It widens their knowledge and horizon, and meanwhile cultivates their independence and personalities because they have to learn how to be accustomed to a new environment and how to get along with others What are possible solutions to overcome the problems above? To get over the difficulties mentioned above, I think before going to a foreign country, students should a little background information by reading through travel forums, guidebooks, news reports, or novels Also, they should think positively and keep an open mind Last but not least, they have to make sure they have certain goals for their study abroad trip ... reliable   BODY II There are several reasons why I don’t choose the other options Actually, searching on the Internet may be the quickest way to collect information but I’m not sure if the information... Searching on the Internet, asking people around you, or going to the town yourself? INTRODUCTION BODY I BODY II CONCLUSION INTRODUCTION People have many methods when they want to gather data about... seeking out on the Internet, questioning other inhabitants or going to the city themselves If I had to this task, I would decide to travel to the place by myself BODY I Firstly, going to the town
