T sticks3 drawings about Nam and his sayings onto the board. -Hello, I'm Nam. Everyday, I go to school by bike Yesterday, I went to school by bike. Tomorrow , I will go to school by bike, too. - Ask Ss to recognize the tense used in each sentense. - Get Ss to recall the form and the use of the Present Simple Tense, Past Simple Tense and Future Simple Tense. I. Present Simple Tense. Get Ss to recall the past form of some verb T shows a table with some verbs and asks to write the past form of them. Present Pregressive Tense. *Use: Get Ss to recall the use of this tense *Form: (+) S + be + V( ing) pair work (-) S + isn't + V (ing) Practice aren't am not (?) Is/ Are/ Am + S + V(ing)? T notifies how to add the end "ing" after the verbs in this tense. - for most verbs , we add "ing" at the end of them. - for some verbs end with "e", we must omit them before adding the end "ing" Ex: write - writing take - taking drive - driving - for some verbs, we must double the last letter before adding "ing" Ex: run - running T asks Ss what are the adverbs of time often used in this tense.- now, at the moment, today … III. T can give Ss the meaning of some words if nescessary.
