BarCharts, Inc.® WORLD’S #1 QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE COOKING CHICKEN & BACON RAMEN Submitted By: Caleb Submitted From: London, UK Ingredients: Ingredients: • 1/ onion • clove garlic • 1-2 slices bacon (depending on preference) • chicken slices (approximately the size of your palm) • Soy sauce • Mixed vegetables • packet of whichever Ramen noodles you prefer • pkg Creamy Chicken Ramen noodles • can canned chicken • 1/ tsp canned minced garlic • tbsp butter • 1/ tsp chili powder • 1/ tbsp Sriracha, or red chili flakes • Optional: 1/2 oz white wine, herbed feta cheese Preparation & Cooking Instructions:: • Slice the onion and shred the garlic or cut it up (finely) • Cut up the bacon into small pieces • Add all of the above into wok (which already has a small amount of olive oil in it) and cook on Low Add some herbs or whichever seasoning you usually use, if you wish • Get the chicken, cut it up, and add it to the wok • Make sure the chicken is completely cooked (a good sign of this is that it’s completely changed color all over), then add the soy sauce • Allow to cook for a minute, then add the mixed vegetables and mix together Add the noodles and mix together Preparation & Cooking Instructions: • Shred and season canned chicken with chili powder, salt, pepper, and 1/2 package of Ramen seasoning • Boil noodles until tender, drain • Add a little butter to non-stick pan and get it hot, add chicken, let brown on one side • Flip chicken, cook on Med-High until nicely browned and slightly crispy Reserve cooked chicken • Reheat same pan, add butter and allow to brown slighty, but not burn • Add minced garlic Cook until just fragrant • Add noodles to brown butter/garlic mixture, then put salt and pepper • Cook on High, stirring constantly until hot • Add Sriracha, or crushed chili flakes (Optional: Deglaze noodles with a little white wine and cook until almost dry.) •Add chicken, toss until heated through •Serve with crumbled herbed feta cheese or parmesan CLUCK CLUCK CROCKPOT RAMEN Submitted By: Deb Submitted From: Louisville, Kentucky, USA Ingredients: • chicken tenders or any chicken without skin and bone • can cream of chicken soup • pkg Vegetable or Chicken Ramen noodles with seasoning packet • oz sour cream • Optional: Drain and add can of your favorite mixed vegetables • Optional: A bay leaf (Remember to remove it before serving, as it is not to be eaten!)
