AmazingAnimals A Homemade PowerPoint Game By Bachkim Play the game Game Directions Story Credits Game Preparation Objectives The Story of “Amazing Animals” Animals are simply amazing. They are all around us, everyday, working hard to find food, find shelter, care for their young, and simply survive. You and your fellow scouts will be traversing the wooded lands of Georgia, where you will encounter much of the native wildlife. Along the way you will learn all kinds of interesting and amazing facts about a few of these animals. Use your eyes, ears, and nose to find clues along the way. Keep your hands to yourself, though. You may lose a finger, otherwise!! Most importantly….Have fun learning!!! Return Game Directions The goal of the game is to be the first player to collect six cards with a different animal on each card. The game is set up for only two players to play at a time. The game starts with the toss of penny. Whoever calls heads or tails correctly gets to go first. In order to view a question, simply click on one of the snakes. The questions do not need to be answered in sequential order. If a player answers a question correctly, he/she may claim one of the animal picture cards. If a player answers incorrectly, he/she does not receive a card, and the next player gets to attempt a question. Each player must chose a different question than that one chosen during the other player’s previous turn until each question has been either attempted or answered correctly at least once. Once a question has been answered correctly, it cannot be chosen again in order to win a picture card. If a question is answered incorrectly, either player can attempt to answer it again, but only after all other questions have been attempted Use the Question Log Sheet to keep track of which questions have been attempted or answered correctly. The game continues as such until one player has collected six different animal picture cards. The player to first accumulate the six different animal picture cards wins. return Game Preparation Animal Cards: Print out two copies of slide 6 (preferably on heavy stock paper), then cut into individual cards Question Log Sheet: Print out one copy of slide 5 return Question Log Sheet 1. _____ 9. ____ 2. _____ 10. ____ 3. _____ 11. ____ 4. _____ 12. ____ 5. _____ 13. ____ 6. _____ 14. ____ 7. _____ 15. ____ 8. _____ 16. ____ return Animal Cards Bald Eagle Barn Owl Black Bear American alligator River Otter tarantula return CORRECT!!!
