disposal costs for the community • Reduce the volume of waste generated by households • Increase the levels of solid waste recycling and composting • They are fair: residents that waste less, pay less • PAYT systems not require additional or new trucks necessarily • They prevent overuse/exploitation of solid waste services • PAYT systems not only encourage recycling, but also encourage recycling,
