BÀI VIẾT Topic 1: Write about a competition or contest you have recently joined or seen Last year, I joined the English Competition at my school on 20th October The competition was organized by English teachers It was sponsored by the Student’ Parents Society All of students in grade 11 could take part in the competition The judges were two English teachers and the vice – head master Finally, Yen Nhi won the competition She got 90 points and I got 60 points Although, I failed, I like the competition so much because I think It helped me practice my speaking skill and that was a opportunity to test my Engish Topic 2: What is the most important quality for a true friendship? To have a true friendship, both the friends must have special qualities The first quality is unselfishness A friend who only know their feeling and interests cannot be a true friend A true friendship is from two – sided affair and it is lived by give – and – take The second quality is constancy To be became friend, We should believe our friend though what happed We shouldnot change because of the attraction of some new object Easy to change cannot help us have a lifelong friendship Loyalty is the third quality Two friends must be loyal to each other We shouldnot gossip about our friend Those who are easily influenced by rumours can never be good friend Trust is perhaps the fourth quality If we have an honor friend, we will feel safe when telling the other his or her secrets In summary, the friendship is the most important, so we have to know the way to keep the friendship Topic 3: Talk about your unforgetable experience of your life My most unforgettable experience happened last year, when I went to Hanoi with my parents and my elder brother That was the second I visited Hanoi, but I couldnot forget that trip When I went there, I was so surprised because of its change The city is so beautiful with the buildings and many famous places When I stayed there, I was visited Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Hoa Lo Prison, The temple of Literature, One pillar pagoda,… I was attracted by those views The first once in my life, I was taken to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum I admire Uncle Ho very much when I saw him During the days, I stayed in Hanoi, I tried a lot of Hanoi specialities I felt friendliness of the Hanoi people, I studied the cultural of Hanoi That things make me proud of my national The trip ended Although it was short, it made me so interested I hope to visit there someday to understand more about Hanoi Topic 4: Plan to organize your birthday party I am having a birthday party on May, 19th at my house This is sixteenth birthday In this day, I will decorate many flowers in my house The birthday will be lighted by candles I will prepare a big birthday cake My mother and I will cook many refreshments and special foods In my birthday, all of my classmates and relationship will be invited When everybody appears in all I will start the party After that, I blow out the candles, we will sing ‘Happy birthday’ to congratulate me To make the birthday happy, I will hold the singing and dancing contest and some games Of course, I will prepare many nice prizes for the winners of the games and contest Finally, I will open the presents which everybody give to me and I will thanks people for attending my birthday The party will end in happiness and warmer Topic 5: Describe a party you attended Last week, I attended Lan’s birthday party on 20th October In her birthday, she decorated many flowers in her house The birthday was lighted by candles She prepared a big birthday cake She cooked many refreshments and special foods In her birthday, all of my classmates and relationship were invited When everybody appeared in all She started the party After that, I blew out the candles, we sang ‘Happy birthday to her’ and sended her best wishes To be made the birthday happy, I held the singing and dancing contest and some games Of course, I prepared many nice prizes for the winners of the games and contest The party ended at 9:00 pm in happiness and warmer Topic 6: Describe your best friend All of my friend, A is my best friend A is so beautiful She has long black hair with an oval face, big eyes, a straight nose and a lovely smile She is a humorous and generous people She always helps everybody in our class She studies very well but she studies English best So she sometimes helps me practice my English skill I met her years ago when we went to hign school At that time, we were sat near together, we understand that we have the same hobbies From that, we dance, sing and study together I like A very much, because she is a lovely and nice girl Topic 7: Talk about the volunteer work you did or you plan to Everyday, I go on the street, I am seen the poor and disadvantaged people When I watch TV, I see the people who not only poverty but also their life is dangered by natural disaster and sickness So I want to something to help them First of all, I will visit the old people I will housework for them After that, I will listen and share with them about their sadness and happiness Second, I will go to the orphanage to visit the disadvantaged children I will buy many candies and snack for them I will teach the number and alphabet for the children I want to dance and sing with them Third, I will encourite everybody to fund – raising The money will help the disadvantaged people in places which was destroyed by floods and sickness In summary, although my help is not helping them much, I hope they will happy despite of the hard life Topic 8: Your favourite festival In Vietnam, the festivals are so many, but I think I like Tet best because of many reasons First, Tet is a traditional festival in Vietnam Tet happens when moments of the year change from the old to the new year’s day Tet is also ossasions for everybody meet together after a long year work hard Second, Tet is in spring The spring is the season which the flowers bloom It is great if we see all of the flowers bloom Third, because Tet is smilestone, so in Tet, people will prepare many special fruits, truits and foods So it will an occasion for us to try many traditional specialities To congratulate this day, the works is denied instead of the entertainment with many traditions We will play many special games which Tet has In summary, Tet is a traditional festival of Vietnam so I am very happy when Tet is coming up
