Good Tim Bad Tim Happy Tim Sad Tim Angry Tim Nervous Tim Shy Tim Tired Tim Quiet Tim Sleepy Tim Clever Tim Hungry Tim Unlucky Tim Crazy Tim This is a game I play with my students in Elementary School to practise feelings To put it into practice you have to cut out the cards and maybe laminate them, if you want them to last in time After having presented some adjectives showing feelings and when I’m sure the kids already remember them, I play the game They sit in a circle; one of them remains out of the circle waiting to be called in I give each kid a card, which they have to keep secret When they are ready, the kid who is out, enters the circle and moves around trying to discover who Crazy Tim is All the kids play the fool (making funny faces and moving their arms and legs in funny ways- though they have to keep sitting down all the time) while their mate questions one of them: “Are you Crazy Tim?” The boy/girl who has been addressed must answer: if he/she is not, he/she says: “No, I’m not Crazy Tim I’m (e.g.) Happy Tim!” The kid in the middle of the circle has goes If after the goes he/she hasn’t found Crazy Tim, all the kids show who they are, saying their characters aloud If he/she finds out who Crazy Tim is, he/she wins points This game is also good to make the kids practise the structures: “Are you…?”, “Yes, I am”, “No, I’m not.” Kids love this game!!
