Some people hold the opinion that modern technology is creating a single world culture while others contradict it It`s true that the development of modern technology enhanced the globalization, but does it contribute to create a single world culture? As far as I concerned, it doesn`t There are more than a hundred countries in the world, even in one country there are many different cultures How can them combine a single world culture? The concept of single world culture is unreal For example, Canada is a country where immigrants from many different countries gather together Does Canada have its unique culture? Obviously not, its culture is a multi-culture, not single culture Moreover, modern technology is just a part of culture It can influence culture, but definitely it can change culture There`s an undeniable fact that people will not speak the same language no matter how developed modern technology is Plus, it`s also impossible to change the background of one culture which is its own history Most parts of one`s culture such as custom, come from one`s history So as we discussed above, it`s now clear that the modern technology is not creating a single world culture
