How to Write to a Penpal • The first letter doesn’t need to be too long It is just a way to introduce yourself and get the other person interested in writing back to you • Tell them your name and how or where you found their name • Say how old you are and where you live • Talk briefly about your interests (what you like to do) Keep it fairly brief to start with • Tell them a little bit about your family (are you married, how many children, you have siblings ?)
