Everyday Words Lists The following everyday expressions are used in Lesson 3: Speaking and in Lesson 4, Session 2: Grammar in conversation and the song or rhyme Children should not be expected to learn these expressions as vocabulary items They are included in the dialogues so that children are exposed to the use and tone of them in everyday conversation Children may be encouraged to notice these expressions, the situations in which they are used and to understand their meanings in context To help children to this, remind them of the expressions or write them on the board Play the track Children listen and raise their hands when they hear the expressions This extra listening may be done at the end of the lesson if there is time Alternatively, it may be used as a Warm-up activity in other lessons or as a revision activity during the course In the list below, the track numbers are given for Speaking dialogues (S) and Grammar in Conversation dialogues (G/C) and the song or rhyme English World Level © Macmillan Publishers Limited Unit CD1 Track 10 (S) Come in!
