With classes, exams, and busy schedules, being environmentally friendly isn’t exactly at the top of every college student’s important thing. But going green isn’t as difficult as you might think. It only takes a few simple changes. The best part is that you’ll be saving more than just the planet; you’ll be saving money as well. Just follow my advice to reduce our environmental impact and live greener. First, you have to do 3R: recycle, reuse and reduce. There may be one of the easiest and most well known things you can do for the environment. For example, when a softdrink bottle is effete, you can clean it, fill with water and use it again and again, or else you can bring it to garbage plant to recycle, and remember to cut down the use of this bottle. Get yourself a nice water bottle for 20 instead of buying cases of water each week. It’s not only sustainable but cheaper Second, dispose of trash properly is the most important thing to do in my opinion. As i know, the lifespan of the plastic, metal material is hundreds, even thousand years. Throwing garbage away on the land or water surface can lead to a series of incredible problems, such as damaged land, animals like fish, worms, and other underland and underwater animals be killed. So i advice you not to put hazardous materials in the trash. Save paints, pesticides, lawn chemicals, car batteries, waste oil and similar materials for your local household hazardous waste collection day. Present life is also future life. Last but not least, that is Change Your Light Bulbs. Most college students know by now to “turn the lights off when you leave a room.” There is no doubt that this will help save energy, but what about when the lights are on? Most traditional light bulbs use more energy than necessary. By switching to energy star bulbs, you will be using 75% less energy and saving about 30 per bulb. In conclusion, if you take at least one of these advice, that you are protecting the environment. For the benefit of ourselves and our children, we must take good care of the Earth nurtures us generation after generation. We have two choices: to take good care of the Earth or everything becomes extinct
