Table of Contents It’s Not Fair! I’m Great! I’m Angry I Lost 10 Trust Me 11 Oops! 12 Should I? 15 It’s not fair! You get more! I have three and you have four Your piece is bigger Mine’s not nice I went once You went twice Wait a minute Let me think This time I have the biggest drink Mine is better Yours is small You don’t get more each time at all Yesterday I won the race You came in at second place Today you won, and I was last I was slow and you were fast I think I’ll try not to compare It all works out I guess that’s fair I’m Great! I can it Just you wait Give me time I’m just great I’ll sink that tricky basketball Skateboard tricks won’t make me fall I’ll get that dance I’ll learn to cook I’ll read that huge enormous book I’ll play that game I may not win I’ll be the best I’ve ever been Sometimes I’ll fail, but that’s all right I’ll try again I’m fine I’m bright So give me time, for I’m just great I can it Just you wait I’m Angry I don’t know how to end this fight I understand it isn’t right Can we talk? Will you agree? Let’s go there, beneath that tree You talk first Why are you mad? Did I say words that made you sad? I’ll be quiet It’s your turn I’ll listen hard and try to learn I’ll go next I’ll hold your hand, And try to make you understand Maybe that would end this fight, For fighting isn’t nice or right I Lost I lost That’s bad I wish I’d won Everyone says, “Have fun! Have fun! Don’t worry if you lose or win Shake the winner’s hand and grin.” So I will try to just have fun It won’t matter if I’ve won But here’s a secret I like to win It’s more fun when they shake and grin 10 Trust Me Oops! You can trust me I’m your friend I’ll keep your secrets till the end I will never lie to you I’ll make you laugh when you feel blue Don’t worry, I am well prepared To help you out when you feel scared I’ll keep a promise if I make it I won’t forget, and I won’t break it So count on me I’m fair, I’m just, And I’m a friend that you can trust 11 My teacher called my name today I didn’t know the answer I was dreaming of the day I’d be a famous dancer I made a mistake, but that’s okay Tomorrow is another day 12 My teacher called my name today I wished that I could hide, For I was drawing pictures of A brand new giant ride I made a mistake, but that’s okay Tomorrow IS another day My teacher called my name today I knew I was in trouble, For I was thinking of the day I’d blow a nine foot bubble I made a mistake, but that’s okay Tomorrow is another day 13 14 Should I? I did something bad today Should I say I did it? Should I tell my mother That I broke the bowl and hid it? Should I tell the teacher That I made the new kid sad? Or should I say I don’t know Why he feels so bad? Should I tell my father That I told a little lie? I didn’t my homework, What’s worse I didn’t try I think I’d better tell the truth It’s always best that way If I don’t say “I’m sorry” now, I’ll have a rotten day 15 16 ...I’m All Right!
